This client recently moved into her forever home and desired to make her place more "usable" for her 'senior' needs and lifestyle- while requesting USI to ensure the decisions being made would not hurt resale for her loved ones who would inherit it later.

By understanding her priorities and needs, USI converted her small enclosed shower into a large, luxury shower with a bench and handicap bars throughout to aid her as time goes progresses.

Additionally, because she cooks and entertains often -- maximizing her space and incorporating tons of features was very important to her in this limited space.

First, USI was able to convert (her once oversized hall closet) into a beverage bar with a convenient, filtration system linked up in to her fancy cappuccino machine! No more transferring water back and forth! Moving this appliance to a new location helped open up her counter space in the kitchen.

Next, USI enlarged the island with a gorgeous, copper sink work station, (eliminating the bar seating... which she never used) so that she could have larger work island footprint for food prep and serving.

Hidden in her island is a bookcase, hidden trash, recessed doggie bowls, roll-out shelves under the sink for maximum usage, double side storage, extra electrical access on each end... just to name a few.

For her perimeter, USI incorporated storage pantry towers, a custom spice rack, a lazy susan, extra deep drawers, a diagonal (and a slider utensil drawer) for long and odd size utensils and deeper/taller upper cabinets than she previously had.

Although the foot print remained---- all of these extras really maximized her space and improved her quality of life.
