This client purchased a 1950's home that needed renovating prior to moving in. As a bachelor, he desired an open, crisp, yet, masculine vibe, while still appealing to the masses, in the event of resale down the road.
The small existing kitchen was another area USI had to address. To create an open concept, a few walls and the low ceiling were removed, to expose the vaulted ceiling and create a wide open space. Additionally, the pantry was eliminated, thus, the lack of wall space to hang cabinets became a challenge.
The solution? USI was able to incorporate cabinets to the ceiling, optimize the corner with a lazy susan, upper corner cabinet shelves, & add a large, pull out pantry to allow for excess storage. This kitchen now has more storage than the original layout, even without the extra wall space for cabinets!
